Gurdaspur: Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh and PPCC chief Sunil Jakhar, who is also the Congress candidate from Gurdaspur, have devised an elaborate campaign plan following which key men have been given charge. Caste-related vote banks have been taken into consideration while allotting work. Cabinet Minister Brahm Mohindra has been sent to the Hindu Rajput dominated seat of Sujanpur, while in the Jat Sikh hub of Batala, MLA Sukh Sarkaria is in charge. Former OSD to the CM Sandeep Sandhu, considered to be a blue-eyed boy of Capt Amarinder, is the fulcrum around which the entire campaign is being run.
